Endoscopic Technician - Days Full Time

Endoscopy Tech in our Cancer Center at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts. Shift start times may vary between 6:30am - 8am, however there are no weekend shifts in this role.

• Under the general supervision of the Department Manager, assists the medical, clinical and clerical staff in the care of the patient by providing high quality technical skills.
• The Endoscopy Technician II performs at a more advanced level acting as a preceptor to others.
• The Endoscopy Technician II assists with the admission and discharge of patients from the holding unit, to ensure a safe environment and quality patient care.
• The Endoscopy Technician II assists the RN with endoscopic procedures for both adults and pediatric patients in all settings of the hospital and Pavilion.
• The Endoscopy Technician II has a complete understanding and knowledge of high-level disinfection.

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Gastrointestinal Technician Specialist Certification upon hire
• 1 year Endoscopy experience.
