Provide specialized nursing care for patients in Gynecology, Urology, Plastics, and ENT specialties. Responsibilities include monitoring complex surgical recoveries and educating patients and families on post-operative home care.
Requires a valid RN license in Wisconsin or a compact state and current CPR/BLS certification. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and relevant inpatient experience are preferred.
Per Diem Registered Nurses must work a minimum of seventy-two (72) hours per six (6) week scheduling period as follows: At least twenty-four (24) hours of the seventy-two (72) hours must be weekend shift hours and at least twenty-four (24) hours of the seventy-two (72) hours must be scheduled for the evening or night shift. These hours can be combined to meet the requirements. A minimum of one (1) summer and one (1) winter holiday may be required. You will be working at University Hospital in Madison, WI.
