Minimum Qualifications

Education: Highschool Diploma or GED with 1-2 years Medical experience OR Graduate Bachelors or Associates in science/health degree BUT Graduate/Completion of a medical assistant program preferred, Medical Assistant Certification or Registration preferred, or Graduate of EMT, EMT-P, or Military Medical Corpsman training preferred. Licensure / Certification: MCMG Only: Nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification or Registration, preferred.

Experience

  • One to two years medical assisting experience preferred. In lieu of required education, two to three years of previous medical office experience is required. Current BLS/CPR, and must maintain current certification
