Provide and document physical therapy treatments to residents under the direction of a Physical Therapist. Ensure all care adheres to facility policies and procedures within a skilled nursing environment.
A current California PTA license is required. Candidates must pass a background check, physical, and TB screening, with prior geriatric and long-term care experience preferred.
Description Compass Health is seeking a compassionate and professional physical therapy assistant for our facility located in Morro Bay, Bayside Care Center. Bayside Care Center provides 5 star compassionate skilled nursing care while maintaining a friendly and home-like environment.
Under the direction of the Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant will provide and document treatment to the residents while adhering to facility policy and procedure. The ideal candidate will have prior long term care and geriatric care experience.
