The pharmacist is responsible for the precise selection, dosing, and administration of medications while resolving drug-related problems. Additionally, they oversee compounding, dispense medications, and serve as a clinical preceptor for pharmacy students.
Candidates must hold a pharmacy credential from the Maryland Board of Pharmacy. A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy is required.
$62.19 - $90.96 per hour What You Will Do Ensure the precise selection, dosing, and administration of medication orders. Review medication profiles to identify, prevent, and resolve potential or actual drug-related problems. Oversee and execute compounding and dispensing of medications. Serve as a clinical preceptor, guiding pharmacy students through academic rotations and training. Deliver patient counseling to ensure medication adherence and clear understanding of therapeutic goals. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Pharmacist credentialed from the Maryland Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
