Perform EEG and evoked potential studies while recognizing ictal and inter-ictal electrographic patterns. Manage clinical seizure emergencies and prepare patients for all phases of diagnostic procedures.
Requires a high school diploma, completion of a certified END program, and ABRET board certification or eligibility. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in hospital or ambulatory settings, including neuro ICU experience.

Under general supervision the EEG tech performs prescribed radiologic/diagnostic procedures requiring specialized knowledge and skills in support of the provision of diagnostic and/or therapeutic services to a specified patient population. Ensures accurate diagnostic results for patients of any age of graphically recorded impulses generated by the brain providing quality outcomes by performing EEG (electroencephalogram) consistent with department policies.

Use mobile unit as appropriate Properly use and maintain equipment and supplies.
High School diploma or equivalent Completion of a certified END program. Board Certified (ABRET) or registry eligible Knowledge of all phases of EEG testing, long term monitoring and neuro ICU experience required At least 3 years’ experience in a hospital or ambulatory setting, performing routine and complex EEG’s. Proficient with Pediatrics (preferred), Adult and Geriatric patients
Usd $24.00 - Usd $35.00 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
