The Medical Assistant supports patient care by preparing exam rooms, recording vitals, and assisting with clinical procedures like EKGs. They also handle administrative tasks such as greeting patients, answering phones, and verifying insurance.
Graduation from a NYS-accredited Medical Assistant program and BCLS certification are required. Certification from NHA, AMT, AAMA, or NCCT is preferred.
