The technician is responsible for observing cardiac and hemodynamic monitors as well as patient activity via video. They must report any unusual activity to the nursing staff and document findings according to unit policy.
Candidates must have completed a cardiac dysrhythmia or monitor technician course and hold a National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association. One year of acute care monitor technician experience is preferred.
Responsible for the observation of cardiac / hemodynamic monitors and patient activity on a video monitors if applicable. Reports any unusual activity to nurse or charge nurse. Documents according to unit policy.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
