The Lactation Consultant is responsible for developing, organizing, and implementing an approved breastfeeding program for the Family Birthing Center, serving the needs of breastfeeding families and the healthcare team. This role also coordinates all lactation support services and communicates with physicians and community healthcare agencies regarding follow-up care.
require International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification and demonstrated effective teaching skills.
