Requires a high school diploma and EEG certification, with an associate degree in Clinical Neurophysiology preferred. BLS authorization is preferred or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Neurodiagnostic tests study and record the electrical activity in the brain and nervous system. Here at Elliot, tests are performed by experienced technologists on all new state-of-the-art digital equipment. The Neurophysiology Department has full-time, professionally trained neurophysiological technologists on staff, and neurologists to interpret all studies.
M - F 8 am - 5pm, On-call rotation for nights / weekends - split amongst the 5 techs. To perform EEG tests as requested by physician. Key Responsibilities Perform EEG tests as requested by physician. Gather patient medical history, explain testing procedures and prepare the patient for procedure. Monitors the patient’s status and notes any abnormalities during testing. Reports findings to physician once testing is complete for further analysis. Enters appropriate data in computer modules. Verifies department inventory levels and reorders additional supplies as needed. Education/Experience/Licensure Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s Degree in Clinical Neurophysiology preferred.
