The Pediatric SLPA will deliver direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP, implementing treatment plans to support client goals related to speech, language, social communication, and feeding. Responsibilities also include promoting skill carryover, monitoring progress, communicating with the supervising SLP, collaborating with caregivers, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program and hold or be eligible for a current Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license. Pediatric experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply, provided they have a genuine passion for helping children achieve communication goals.
