The Direct Support Professional will provide one-on-one support, assistance, and companionship to an individual with intellectual disabilities, helping with daily living activities like personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration. This role requires ensuring the individual's safety and well-being both in the home and community settings.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license, along with the ability to pass a background check. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred, but excellent communication and a compassionate demeanor are essential.
