The Medical Technologist performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in diagnosing and monitoring various disease states. This role reports directly to the Director of Laboratory Services and involves regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards.
Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and preferably hold Medical Technologist licensure through ASCP or AMT, along with a valid driver's license and BLS-HCP certification. The position requires strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to operate effectively under minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
