The Interventional Vascular Technologist provides technical assistance during diagnostic and interventional procedures by operating imaging equipment and preparing patients. They are responsible for maintaining sterile environments, managing procedural data, and ensuring high-quality image acquisition.
Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program and hold current ARRT registration and state licensure. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and previous experience in an angiography department is preferred.
