The Registered Nurse will float across multiple medical and surgical general care units and intermediate care units, providing high-quality, evidence-based care to complex patient populations. Responsibilities include utilizing critical thinking for patient assessment, recognizing complications, administering interventions, and partnering with multidisciplinary teams.
Candidates need a minimum of six months of relevant nursing experience in inpatient units or similar areas, or current participation in the UW Health Nurse Residency Program, with a preference for a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Required certifications include a Wisconsin RN license or compact state equivalent, current CPR/BLS certification upon hire, and ACLS within six months.
00pm - 7:30am, including weekends. You will work at University Hospital and East Madison Hospital, in Madison, WI.
