New graduate nurses will collaborate with mentors and educators during their first year to transition from a student mindset to a high-functioning professional nurse. This involves completing structured learning requirements, including simulations and skills labs, while participating in residency seminars for professional enhancement.
Candidates must obtain BLS Provider certification within one month of hire and be credentialed as a Registered Nurse by the Indiana Board of Nursing within three months of hire. Completion of or enrollment in a Nursing program and a diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing within six months of hire are also required.

Participates in residency seminars designed to enhance professional development while effectively managing clinical scheduling and department commitments.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Enrolled in or completion of Nursing program required. Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required within 6 months of hire.
