The Pharmacy Technician II assists the pharmacist with the preparation of medications for dispensing and performs various technical and supportive tasks necessary to provide pharmacy services. This role focuses on accurate medication preparation following established policies and procedures.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with a Certified Pharmacy Technician license from the State Board of Pharmacy. The technician must comply with state and federal drug laws and has mastered job duties and responsibilities.
