The role involves performing comprehensive psychiatric assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing medications for patients, including those with substance use disorders. Responsibilities also include delivering high-quality inpatient/outpatient psychiatric care and maintaining accurate documentation standards.
Candidates must be a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of application, holding current Board Certification. Applicants must possess or be able to obtain a DEA license and have knowledge in health promotion, advanced pathophysiology, assessment, and pharmacology.

This is an onsite IP PRN role, for occasional weekend coverage.

Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) with psychiatric experience or a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state you are applying to. Board Certification as a PA or PMHNP. Must have DEA or have the ability and current qualifications to obtain it. Prior experience preferred in providing mental health counseling services within a clinical setting. Must possess a State License to practice and it must be in good standing. Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology. RRPA requires a detailed background check and drug screen for employment.
