The role involves performing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) duties, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), taking vital signs, and assembling treatment equipment. The Unit Clerk aspect requires assisting nurses with procedures and responding promptly to requests in a team environment.
Candidates must be a high school graduate or equivalent and hold a current CNA certification along with mandatory Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Previous hospital experience is desired but not a strict requirement for this position.

What to expect as a CNA/UNIT CLERK: Perform patient care duties including ADL’s. Take vital signs, pulse oximetry readings, weigh patients and report abnormal readings. Assemble treatment equipment and assist the nurse with procedures. Multi-task and respond to request in a timely manner. Work in a teamwork setting. Customer service skills are essential when helping patients and staff.
