The Interventional Vascular Specialist II is responsible for precepting new staff and students while assisting in advanced procedures such as pulmonary thrombectomy, AAA, and TEVAR, requiring intermediate knowledge of x-ray equipment and troubleshooting. Duties also include circulating, monitoring, scrubbing all procedures, managing access sites, and participating in procedural charging.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of radiologic or cardiovascular technology and possess a minimum of one year of experience as an Interventional Vascular Specialist, Interventional Radiology Technologist, or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist. Required certification includes ARRT-R (with VI or CV credential) or RCIS.
