The Registered Dental Assistant will primarily assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and exams, which includes preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials. Key duties also involve taking and processing dental X-rays and educating patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Candidates must possess an active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification as required by the state and should ideally have previous dental assisting experience, with pediatric experience being preferred. The role demands the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a friendly, patient-focused attitude.
