Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in biology or chemistry, and ideally have 1-2 years of focused prior lab research experience demonstrating proficiency in areas like molecular biology or protein biochemistry. Applicants should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and aiming for top-tier PhD, MD, or MD/PhD programs after committing to two years in the lab.
