Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LVN administers medication, performs prescribed treatments, and provides essential patient care responsibilities. This role includes consulting with the RN regarding patient status changes, providing pain management, and assisting with rehabilitation in accordance with the medical plan of care.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse program and hold an active LVN license along with BLS certification. A minimum of six months' prior experience in an acute care setting is preferred, and the ability to read, write, and speak fluent English is required.
