A Physical Therapist interprets initial evaluation results to determine appropriate patient goals and develops comprehensive treatment plans, modifying them as necessary using appropriate techniques. They are also responsible for participating in teaching opportunities and inter-disciplinary program planning while maintaining a safe environment.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited program and hold a valid Indiana Physical Therapy license or temporary permit, with previous experience in Outpatient General Orthopedics being preferred. Essential knowledge includes anatomy, evaluation techniques, and current professional trends, alongside the ability to effectively communicate and manage patient transfers.
