The Physician Assistant provides supervised medical services with a focus on acute and same-day care for patients. Responsibilities include patient education, communication of treatment progress, and referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine. Additionally, two years of experience as a Physician Assistant in an acute care setting is required.
Provides supervised medical services for patients with emphasis on acute/same day care. All duties are in collaboration with contracted physician, services are provided under the rules regulations, and policies established by the approved job description of the State of Maryland, BPQA, HCFA, AMA, and AAMC.
