The role involves assisting with hospital rounding, including ICU care, and managing patients across clinical settings, alongside assessing new consults in the clinic and during hospital admissions. Responsibilities also include utilizing on-site diagnostic tools like Nuclear, Stress Tests, and Echocardiograms.
Applicants must possess an active Texas license, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Board Certification, and a degree from an approved Nurse Practitioner studies program. One to three years of Cardiology experience is preferred, and the candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program with a current Texas RN license.

Full time- 40 hours per week. May require occasional weekend assistance when supervising physician is on call. Assist with hospital rounding including ICU and clinical management of patients. The Nurse Practitioner (“NP”) Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas. Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas. The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure. The NP’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only
