The Awake Overnight Counselor provides direct support to individuals with Brain Injury or behavioral conditions in a residential setting, focusing on building independence skills and improving quality of life. Duties include administering medication, implementing treatment plans, assisting with daily living activities, and performing nightly cleaning and filing.
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree in Human Services preferred) and be at least 21 years old with a valid US driver's license for at least one year. Experience with developmental disabilities, behavioral conditions, or brain injury is strongly preferred, along with strong time management and writing skills.
Schedule: Thu-Sat 11pm-9am
$18.75 / hour
As an Awake Overnight Counselor, you will provide direct support to people with Brain Injury or behavioral conditions in either a small group residential setting or an individual living arrangement. In your role you will work together with the people we serve, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to transform their lives by either building independence skills or increasing each person's quality of life.
Awake Overnight Counselors have a range of duties including have a range of duties include administrating medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP), implementing treatment plans, and assisting people with activities of daily living.
Additional responsibilities include nightly cleaning and filing.
