The Nurse Practitioner will provide full-time, hospital-based care, including rounding in the ICU and managing cardiology patients, while also assessing new consults in the clinic and hospital setting. Duties involve utilizing on-site diagnostic tools like Nuclear Stress Tests and Echocardiograms to offer a multidimensional approach to cardiac and peripheral vascular therapies.
Applicants must possess an active Texas license, Nurse Practitioner Board Certification, and a degree from an approved Nurse Practitioner program. A minimum of 1 to 3 years of Cardiology experience is required, along with current RN licensure for the State of Texas and certification as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Texas.

The Nurse Practitioner (“NP”) Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas. Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas. The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure. The NP’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
