Job summary

• We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Optometrist to join our team.
• As an Optometrist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients in long-term care facilities.
• This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
• This Doctor will have the opportunity to communicate and interact with a full health care team including nurses, primary physicians, health aids, family and ophthalmologists.
• Along with this, the doctor will be in close contact with our own administrative and professional staff who are extremely helpful and supportive.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive routine and medical eye exams
• Perform dilated exams
• Provide diabetic evaluations
• Treatment of infection and injury
• Proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease
• Comfortable working with the geriatric population

Requirements

• OD license
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
