The Counselor will conduct initial assessments and ongoing patient care, providing counseling through evidenced-based practice and patient education. Responsibilities also include ensuring treatment program accountability and helping patients set realistic goals for freedom from addiction.
Applicants must be a licensed Counselor or Social Worker, holding a minimum Master's Degree in a human services field related to substance use disorders. A minimum of 1 year of full-time employment or internship in a human services setting is required, along with specific licenses such as CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, or LCADC.

Conduct initial assessment and ongoing patient care. Provide counseling to patients through evidenced-based practice. Provide patient education. Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration. Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward achieving freedom from addiction. Act as a clinic resource and assure compliance with HIPPA and CFR42 Part 2 regulations.
LICENSED COUNSELOR/SOCIAL WORKER EDUCATION: Education: Minimum, Master's Degree in a human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, family studies, human services, counseling, nursing, or another human service degree program related to working with individuals with substance use disorders.
Minimum of 1 year of full-time employment/internship working in a human-services setting OR Master's Degree in behavioral science, as defined above.
