The Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments and behavioral health care, focusing on supporting the client's ability to direct their own health care experiences through assessment, intervention, education, and resource linkage. Duties include utilizing age-appropriate skills, assisting in developing cost-effective care plans, promoting patient-centered multi-disciplinary care, and maintaining required documentation.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree and hold a current unrestricted license in the state of practice (LCSW/LPCC/LMFT), along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a required National Provider Identifier (NPI) before starting. Required experience includes one year in a mental health setting, with a preference for three to five years of related professional experience in settings like hospitals or FQHCs.
