The Nuclear Medicine Tech prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies while performing and assisting with nuclear medicine procedures according to provider orders and established standards. Responsibilities also include performing required quality control, scheduling patients, ordering supplies, maintaining equipment standards, and ensuring preventive maintenance occurs.
Candidates must possess a current General Radiologic Technologist (GN) License from Wyoming and either a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) Certification or ARRT (N) discipline certification. Desired attributes include strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze data and interact respectfully with diverse populations.
