The Radiology Tech performs diagnostic x-rays, special procedures, surgical procedures, and portable exams, ensuring all studies meet the standards set by referring physicians. Responsibilities also include following physician orders for procedures, providing calming information to patients and families, and maintaining required quality control procedures for equipment.
Candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program and possess a current Special Radiologic Technologist (SP) License from the Wyoming State Board. Additionally, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiology (R) registration must be obtained within twelve months of the start date.
