Experience

• Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon hire. ARRT(RT)(M) required within 1 year of hire.

• Qualifications (Level 2):
• Education: Associate's Degree from an accredited imaging/radiology program as defined by ARDMS, ARRT and/or CCI.

Experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Skill in applying principles of mammography and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, positioning of patients, and medical ethics. Demonstrates foundational knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology, basic mammography principles and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology. Applies core mammography theory, practice and techniques to perform examinations and complete basic post-processing analysis, and documentation with general supervision or assistance. Demonstrates clear and respectful verbal and written communication skills to exchange basic information with patients, families, and team members. Ability to prioritize and complete assigned clinical and non‑clinical work tasks with guidance and direction, progressively developing independence in managing routine responsibilities.
