include performing essential patient services such as bathing, oral hygiene, and feeding, alongside participating in hourly rounds and transporting patients to treatment centers as needed. The role also requires maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and ensuring unit stock levels of necessary supplies are kept up.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma/GED or equivalent relevant work experience, along with hospital experience as a nursing assistant, CNA certification, or experience in a related field like medical assistant or being an actively enrolled RN student. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days of hire.
Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair Participate in hourly rounds Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed Performs other duties as assigned
