This full-time role involves serving as a Chaplain at the UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital, working a day shift schedule. The position requires providing spiritual care within the hospital setting.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Theology or Divinity and must have completed at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education. Preferred qualifications include completing four units of CPE in a hospital, one year of experience in Women’s Services, and three years of post-graduate pastoral care experience.
100% FTE, full-time. Day shift. 9:00-6:30pm. 8 Hours shifts. You will work at the UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital.
Master’s degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Religious Studies, Pastoral Counseling, or a related field of ministry from a school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Required Must have completed at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education. Required Completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education in a hospital setting. Preferred Work Experience No minimum experience required. 5 years Pastoral ministry in a church setting. Preferred 3 years Pastoral care as a chaplain in a hospital, hospice or other care facility. Preferred Licenses & Certifications Licensed or ordained chaplain, and in good standing with their faith tradition. Required Membership (or eligibility for membership in) the Association of Professional Chaplains or the National Association of Catholic Chaplains. Preferred APC Board Certification.
