The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients according to physician orders and established guidelines. This care must adhere to the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in good standing in the State of Georgia. Required certification includes the American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
