The Nurse RN, Sleep Specialist provides comprehensive sleep education focusing on managing treatment compliance and assists in identifying and supporting potential barriers to patient care under the supervision of a sleep medicine provider.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, licensed to practice nursing in Florida, and hold current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. While an Associate's Degree is the minimum, new hires after June 14, 2017, must obtain a BSN within three years of hire.
Under the general supervision of a sleep medicine provider or designee, provides comprehensive sleep education with regard to helping manage treatment compliance management, and assists in identifying and supporting possible barriers to care.
