The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) contributes to the nursing process by assessing patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions and implementing treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners, including medication administration. Key duties involve collaborating on controlled substance counts, assisting in procedures, implementing dietary plans, and documenting encounters using SOAP charting.
Candidates must be graduates from an accredited school of nursing and maintain current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state of employment, along with current CPR certification. A minimum of one year of clinic experience is preferred.
