The Radiation Therapist is responsible for delivering prescribed radiation treatments to patients according to established standards, which includes reviewing patient history and physician orders. Key duties involve educating patients about procedures, continuously monitoring their condition, preparing equipment, implementing safety standards, and accurately positioning the patient to perform the required procedures.
Applicants must possess an associate degree in Radiation Therapy or an equivalent qualification. Required credentials include being ARRT registered or registry eligible as a radiation therapist (T) in good standing, along with current BLS certification, with one to two years of radiation therapy experience being preferred.
this is a full-time position that will work in our outpatient cancer center.
