The EEG Tech performs neurodiagnostic EEG procedures under supervision, including accurately applying electrodes according to the International 10-20 System and gathering necessary patient history information. Responsibilities also involve explaining the test, maintaining a safe environment, implementing adjustments for optimal recording, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience or completion of an accredited EEG program, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Required certifications include Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
Under the direct supervision of the Manager or designee, performs neurodiagnostic EEG procedures.
