The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will conduct diagnostic evaluations and administer targeted treatment using various therapeutic modalities. Responsibilities include developing individualized therapy plans and providing counseling to patients with diverse mental health challenges.
Candidates must have a Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field and be licensed as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, MSW, or APC. Experience in clinical mental health counseling and proficiency in delivering psychotherapy and counseling is required.
Licensed Therapist Responsibilities Conduct assessments of bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plans Provide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalities Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goals Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation Maintain an active caseload of mimimum of 15 client sessions per week Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as required Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 as an IC based on 30 clinical sessions per week Billing, credentialing, scheduling, and intake support Flexible scheduling: Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-7pm; flexibility to schedule minumum of 20 hours of availability within those time frames; 1-2 days of evening hours needed; hybrid position with at least greater than 50% on-site required.
Licensed Therapist Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted license as a LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in GA Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field Strong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT) Ability to provide therapy independently Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms Experience conducting psychotherapy with specific populations (children, adolescents, trauma, couples, etc. Experience in outpatient or group practice settings About Focus Forward Counseling and Consulting: Focus Forward Counseling and Consulting is a compassionate, client-centered practice dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families move forward with clarity, resilience, and purpose.
