Associate Mental Health Therapists provide high-quality outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families under supervision, focusing on maintaining a consistent caseload and delivering evidence-based care. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing psychotherapy services, and completing accurate clinical documentation.
Candidates must hold an active, unrestricted LMHCA or LMFTA license in Washington State and possess a Master’s or doctoral degree in a related mental health field. A strong background in evidence-based practices and comfort with EHR and telehealth platforms are required.
Role Summary An Associate Mental Health Therapist with Dayspring Behavioral Health provides high-quality outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families under the supervision of a licensed clinician. Success in this role means maintaining a consistent caseload, delivering evidence-based care, and completing documentation accurately and on time while collaborating with a supportive clinical team. We are a mental health group practice that focuses on hosting a professional, supportive, and rewarding workplace for Mental Health Therapists. Conduct assessments of bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plans Provide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalities Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goals Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation Maintain a minimum active caseload of 16 clients per week required (both in person and online) Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as required Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies Attend weekly supervision meetings
Licensed Therapist Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted license: LMHCA or LMFTA in Washington State Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field Ability to maintain adequate Professional Liability Insurance coverage Strong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT) Ability to provide therapy independently Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms Experience conducting psychotherapy with specific populations (children, adolescents, trauma, couples, etc.); strong preference for therapists interested in working with ages 9 through adulthood Experience in outpatient or group practice settings
