The physician will provide medical care and therapeutic management for acute and chronic illnesses within a clinic setting at DePaul Community Health Centers. Responsibilities include comprehensive scope of care, coordinating patient health management, and collaborating with in-house specialists and hospitals.
Candidates must possess an MD/DO from an accredited university and hold or be eligible for a State Medical Board license, along with active State Medical Board licensure in Louisiana. Required certifications include current state/federal DEA certification and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support potentially required.

How you’ll make an impact in this role DePaul Community Health Centers in Louisiana and Arkansas, part of Ascension Community Health Ministries, is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to provide medical care and therapeutic management of acute and chronic illness in a clinic setting. DePaul Community Health Centers operates ten Federally Qualified Health Centers in the Greater New Orleans area as well as clinics in Dumas, Arkansas. DCHC is committed to improving the health status of our community and to continuing a long tradition of service in this market. Family Medicine Physician is comprehensive in scope and includes the overall coordination of the patient’s health management, preventative or curative, whether physical, behavioral and sociological in nature, and works closely with in-house specialists and hospitals to deliver high-quality health care to the community.
· MD/DO from an accredited University and pending/active State Medical Board license or Medical Board License Eligible. Board Certified / Board Eligible. · Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana · Must have current state and federal DEA certification · Current Certification in Basic Life Support for healthcare providers, Advanced Cardiac Life support may also be required based on the scope of services · Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills
