The hand surgeon will provide both non-surgical and surgical services for work-related injuries, collaborating with medical and therapy providers. They will also communicate with employers and participate in case management.
Candidates should have experience treating work-related injuries and must hold an unrestricted DEA license and board certification or eligibility in hand surgery. A graduate of an accredited MD or DO program is required, along with medical malpractice insurance.
