The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direction and guidance in patient education and activities, working under RN supervision to assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions. Responsibilities include implementing treatment programs, administering medications (including IV therapy if certified), and documenting nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
Candidates must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing and preferably possess a minimum of one year of clinic experience. Applicants must maintain current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state of employment and be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
