• Legacy Behavioral Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our Lowndes team.
• In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting individuals and families throughout South Georgia with compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services.
• Under supervision, Direct Support Professionals will provide training and support services to people with developmental disabilities in a 24/7 community residential program.
• Responsibilities include delivering skills training in daily living and community integration as outlined by the Individual Service Plan, maintaining a clean and sanitary home environment to meet CARF safety regulations, and assisting in coordinating transportation for persons served.
• Teamwork with fellow staff members is essential to ensure the highest quality of IDD services.
• Proficiency in computer skills is required.
• Additionally, the position requires monitoring and documenting persons served progress in treatment.
• Flexibility to work varying hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Direct Support Professional will be supervised by the Site Manager.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED; required Valid GA driver’s license with less than 5 points. CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain CPR Certification.
