The Med Aide is responsible for administering medications to residents and assisting with their daily care routines, while also ensuring proper storage of medications and equipment and maintaining accurate distribution records. This role also involves monitoring the health and well-being of residents and promptly reporting any physical or behavioral changes to the Wellness Director.
Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and possess a high school diploma or equivalent; one year of experience in a healthcare environment is preferred but the company offers a full training program. Essential qualities include a love for working with seniors and the ability to be a flexible, energetic person who projects calm, care, and professionalism.
