Provide high-quality care to medical oncology patients as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements using analytical thinking.
Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) state licensure and BLS certification. Ability to function within the Texas Nurse Practice Act and maintain security integrity per Texas EO-GA-48 is required.
The MCC Clinical Registered Nurse—Intermediate provides direct nursing care to patients at the Mays Cancer Center. The nurse demonstrates independence when preparing equipment and aiding physicians during patient treatment and examination. The nurse works under the limited supervision of the department leadership.
