The Interventional Radiology Nurse provides direct nursing care, assesses patient conditions, and takes immediate action in emergencies within the Interventional Radiology and Neurointerventional Radiology department. This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating age-specific care in collaboration with the healthcare team, following the direction of credentialed specialists.
Candidates must be a graduate of a professional nursing school, with a BSN preferred, and hold a current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Required certifications include AHA ACLS, PALS, and AHA BLS-HCP, along with demonstrated computer literacy for electronic medical records.
